Welcome to Pink Roses Academy
It is a privilege for me, as the Head teacher, to inform you that my staff and I are committed to providing a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which children will enjoy their learning. We strive to make learning fun and to provide an education that develops the whole child academically, socially and emotionally. We focus our energies on ensuring that all children aim for excellence in their work and are able to achieve the very best that they can.
We place great importance on a strong partnership between school and the home environment. As partners in your child’s future we welcome you to share with us their achievements and aspirations.
We welcome you to a friendly, happy and hardworking environment where respect for others, positive attitudes towards work and behavior are encouraged and nurtured. Our children work in a very caring, stimulating school environment and respond well to the school’s assertive discipline policy and to the school’s ethos of respect for all.
All members of staff here at Pink Roses Academy, both teaching and non- teaching, are committed to providing a broad, balanced and relevant education for all the children within a supportive and caring environment. They seek to build the self-esteem of all children through a policy of equal opportunity. All staff work hard to ensure that relationships throughout the school are based on mutual trust and respect as the school strongly believes that it is through secure relationships that the children respond with positive attitudes and understanding of their work.
We have an aspirational culture and aim to be a high achieving school, where all children get the very best out of school life – both academically and socially. We have strong teaching and support staff who are committed to our vision Everything that we are goes into everything that we do.
We have an exciting but rigorous curriculum, to ensure that children get excellent teaching in the basics as well as having fun in their learning. This will give them the skills they need to access the whole curriculum and go on to achieve highly in all areas. We value the arts and sport and plan opportunities for all children to get involved in performance every year.
